Industrial Electrician
Full-time; $41.38 - $53.00 per hour
Position Description
GPSD is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Industrial Electrician to join our team. This position performs skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical and control systems at the wastewater treatment plant and related facilities. This position ensures safe and reliable operation of motors, pumps, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), lighting, and process instrumentation.

Interested individuals must have a certificate demonstrating completion of the Illinois Central College Industrial Electrical Program or similar program acceptable to the District, along with a valid driver's license.

Laborer I
Full-time; $20.73/hour
Position Description
GPSD is looking for a laborer who can perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties, including operating and maintaining vehicles and equipment; using various hand and power tools; performing general labor work at the treatment plant, in the collection system, and in confined spaces; capable of heavy manual labor, working from heights, and working with exposures to hazards; and performing general building and grounds maintenance.
