About the Board of Trustees
The District is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees who are appointed by the Chairperson of the Peoria County Board with the advice and consent of the Peoria County Board. The Trustees establish all District policy and adopt rules and regulations governing the operation of the District.
Board meetings are open to the public and are held at 9:30 A.M. on the third Tuesday each month, unless the Board votes to change a date or time during a regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting. The location of the meeting is GPSD’s office, located at 2322 S. Darst St., Peoria, IL 61607.
