Leak Credit Information
In the event of a water leak, GPSD may give a credit, in GPSD's sole and absolute discretion. At a minimum,
*** Unless prior arrangements have been made, please pay the full amount due on the account before the due date listed on the billing to avoid any penalties or fees. ***
If you are eligible, credit will be given for water use in excess of your calculated average sewered water use, less any year around discount for unsewered water which you may or may not receive.
- GPSD must be contacted and the completed application must be received within 6 months of the leak in order to be eligible for an adjustment
- Leak adjustments will only be allowed on an account once every 12 months
- This entire application must be completed in order for an adjustment to be considered
- Repair receipts must be included or no adjustment will be given
- Any past due charges must be paid in full in order to put the account on hold
- Once an adjustment is given, you will have 30 days to pay the balance in full
